OYO DEPUTY GOVERNOR SUPPORTS LIONS CLUB PROJECTS IN OTA



His Excellency, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo the deputy governor of Oyo State was in Ota on Saturday 12th November 2016 to rally support for the humanitarian project embarked upon by the Ota Doyen Loins Club. The deputy governor was the chairman at the official presentation and fund raising of the club held at One Life Wonderland Amusement Park, Idiroko Road Ota.
He congratulates the new president of Ota Doyen Lions Club, Lion Dimeji Fehintola and appreciates the entire lions club for their commitment to service, especially in making positive impact in various communities and in giving. He noted that lions club has been in the forefront of serving and giving to the needy in various capacities. Special reference was made to an ongoing project of the construction of A-block of 10 toilets at the St James Anglican Primary School, Ipate Oyinbo Ota. Otunba Adeyemo commended the club for this initiative and pledges his support towards the completion of the said project.

The deputy governor also called on the other guest and all well wisher present at the occasion to donate generously towards the course of the lions club which he describes as a noble initiative worthy of emulation, adding that government alone cannot fix the problems in various communities. He therefore called for the support and corporation of every citizen asking them to contribute their own  gota towards making our community a better place for all to live. 
The Chief host, who is the district governor  404B-1 Nigeria of the Lions club international, Lion (TPL) Waheed Kadiri  appreciated the Oyo State deputy governor and decorated him with  the clubs ‘pin’ to officially invite him to join the Lions Club International  as a mark of honour and appreciation
