SENATOR GBOLAHAN DADA BURIES MUM IN GRAND STYLE

Ota was agog with the celebration of life of Olori Princess Josephine Amope Dada, the matriach of Oba T. T. Dada Royal Dynasty of Otta-Awori land. Mama died on 9th June 2016 at the ripe age of 90years.
The burial rites (as expected) was a carnival of some sort. It started with a Service of Songs at her residence on Wednesday 6th July 2016, Christian Wake Keep at the Cethedral of St. James Anglican Church Hall on Thursday 7th July 2016 and ended with the funeral service which was held at the same church on Friday 8th July 2016.
Mama's sons Senator Prince Gbolahan Dada (Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District) with his brother Prince Adegunwa Dada hosted guests to a glamourous reception at the Ijamido ultra modern hall.

Roll call of guests include: The Executive Governor of Ogun State- Senator Ibikunle Amosun with his amiable wife, Senator Ita Inang- Senior Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters who represented President Mohammed Buhari. Senators present include Senator Lanre Tejuosho, Senator Samuel Anyanwu amongst others, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly. Other members of Ogun State Executive Council present include: Otunba Dayo Adeneye (Hon. Commissioner for Information), Hon. Jide Ojuko (Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs), Hon. Bimbo Ashiru (Commissioner for Commerce and Industries), Hon. Adebola Adeife (Physical Planning and Urban Development), Comrade Rotimi Rahmon (Chairman Ogun State Local Governments Services Commission) to mention a few.
Other dignitaries include: Mr. Jimi Agbaje (PDP Governorship candidate in Lagos State), Mr. Foluso Philips (Businessman and Chairman/CEO Philips Consulting Ltd.), Alhaji Kassim (Chairman & CEO D'Czars Hotel and Suites). The famous Adewale Dada ("The Good") and OGTV's Kayode Taiwo were also present as Masters of Ceremony.
There was so much to eat and drink for all and sundry.


Ota 'n' Environs crew led by the Publisher 'Biodun Ogundele accompanied by Eko Vincent Jnr. and Njoku Cynthia also graced the occassion.
